AR Photo Guide
Take a pic! For the photogenic: Tabimatsu special Photo booth! Also known as AR Photos.
The button (AR撮影) can be found in the game menu.
When you click that button, you’ll be taken to a character selection screen.
Clicking one of the character select frames, and you’ll be taken to a page where you can see all the available characters. There are two tabs, one with characters in the skit format (ストーリーキャラ “story character”) and one with the characters that visit your room in the smaller format (お部屋キャラ “room character”).
You can mix and match big and small however you like. Here I’m picking out the skit format Dayon for my AR photo.
As you can see you have two options on the bottom. The first one, 沈のキャラ選択, means to select another character. The second, 決定して撮影, means to decide on the current team and start taking photos. If you press the 沈のキャラ選択 button to select another character and then press the back button on the top left (もどる), you’ll come back to the character select screen and see the current team. My team is currently just Dayon.
I’ll go ahead and press the second character select frame. This time I want to add Choromatsu to the team. Choromatsu has many different outfits to choose from, you can use your finger to swipe to the side to see all of them and find one you like.
I like this outfit so I’ll press that one. I want to add another character, so I’ll press the 沈のキャラ選択 button again.
Finally, I’ll add Osomatsu to my team.
If you feel finished you can go ahead and press the 決定して撮影 to go directly to shooting photos. I want to double check my current team, so I’ll press the 沈のキャラ選択 button and then the back button (もどる) in the upper left corner to go back to the character select menu.
Everything looks good here! So I’ll go ahead and press the decide 決定 button in the upper right corner. The camera will open and you’ll see the team of characters you’ve picked out.
On the top left you have the back button (もどる), the bottom left button lets you turn the flash on and off, the bottom middle button (撮影) takes a photo and the top right button (操作説明 “explanation of operations”) opens a window with instructions.
Here’s how to set up your scene:
- You can use the blue smiley next to your characters to change their pose and expressions, just keep pressing it until you find something you like.
- Use two fingers and move apart or pull together to change the sizes of the characters.
- Double tap on a character to make them look in the other direction.
- Use two fingers in a circular motion to rotate your characters.
When you’ve got a good scene you can go ahead and press the blue button on the bottom of the screen to take a photo.
It gives you a couple of options here. You can share the photo to Facebook, Twitter and LINE, or press the down arrow button to save the photo to your device.
