Dice Guide

Dices are used to move forward in the game and, as of June 14th 2017, also functions as a way to battle Bosses in Dungeon Events. This guide will cover most of how to use dices, as well as how to obtain them.

Using the Dice

At the bottom right, there is a big blue button with a dice on it. That’s the dice button. As you can see, there is a small puffy cloud that says “あと1回” (1 more time) in it. Since it shows how many dices you have left, the number will vary between 1 and 20. In this example image there is only 1 dice left to use.

To use a dice, simply press the dice button.

A dice will appear with a hand that swipes to the right of the screen. To roll the dice, just swipe it with your finger. You can swipe in any direction, but a swipe to the left usually ends up in a clumsy roll, so I recommend a swipe to the right.

I rolled a six. Now, because there are six sides on a dice and a set of sextuplets, the brother with corresponding birth number will appear and greet you. Because I rolled a six, Todomatsu waved at me and I moved 6 steps forward.

Using Dices in Battle
For how to use dices in battle, please see the Dungeon Event Guide. You can use CTRL + F and search for “Battle” to get straight to that section.

Auto Function

The are two auto functions for dices available. One is to automatically roll your dices on the board, and the second is during Boss Fights in Dungeon Events. Simply activate the Auto mode by switching the Auto button on.

Pressing the Dice button with the Auto Funcion enabled will give you a roll without having to swipe with your finger. The Auto Function button is available to the top right of the screen when it’s time to roll a dice.

You can turn the Auto Function off in the in game menu settings. Simply go to the main menu and press the 設定 (settings) button. Scroll down to find the part that says べんり機能 (convenience).

You will see three settings here. The first one, サイコロスキップ (dice skip), lets you turn automatic dices on and off however you please. If you don’t want to use automatic dices anymore, you can go ahead and press this button to switch it off.

Recovering by Time

Dices are automatically recovered by time, a new dice will be recovered every 15th minute. When looking at the dice button, you will see a text that reads “全回復まで2時間05分” (2 hours and 5 minutes left until full recovery), but with varying numbers.

It shows how much time there is left until the dice inventory has been fully recovered. In this example, it is shown that there are 2 hours and 5 minutes until dices will be fully recovered. The maximum number of dices that you can hold by this recovery method is 10.

Dice Tiles

On the board there are tiles with a dice icon on them.

Landing on these dice tiles will recover some dices. The number of dices recovered differs every time and, from what we currently know, the amount varies between 1 and 5 dices each time.

Recovering 5 dices after stepping on a dice tile:

“マジで!? ご、5回復!? これは、想定外でしたね”
“Really!? Fi-five recoveries!? This was very unexpected.”

While the maximum amount of dices you can hold by recovering with time, by landing on a Dice tile you can sometimes end up with more than 10 dices. The amount of dices you could hold by this method used to be unlimited, however, a recent update limited the maximum amount of dices you can hold at one time to 20.

Recovering Manually

When I don’t have any dices left, my leading sextuplet, who is currently Choromatsu, will pop up.

Choromatsu says “もっと日本全国旅して自分探しをしたいんだよね”, meaning “I would like to keep travelling all over Japan and search for myself”.

There is also a pink button that says “今すぐ回復”, which means “recover now”. Let’s press that button.

Totoko will appear with a few suggestions on how to recover dices. There are three options shown here: The first one is right beside Totoko: it is the Advertisement option. You can watch 10 ads a day, with 3 dices each for every ad you watched, totalling 30 dices a day.

You can see that Totoko is saying “動画はあと3回観れるみたい”, which means that you have 3 ads left to watch today. Press  動画で回復 (watch video) to watch an ad.

Congrats! You now have 3 rolls at your disposal.

I now have 3 more dices to play with. But what do you do when you run out of  all your dices, and there are no more ads to watch?

Sometimes, the game awards you Gold and Silver dices. They are handed out by the Staff as a log in bonus gift, a maintenance gift, event gifts, or you can simply buy them in the Casino Prize Corner.

As you can see on the bottom of Totoko’s dice recovery screen, I currently have 1 Golden Dice and 11 Silver Dices. The Golden Dice gives 10 rolls, which means you’ll recover full dices instantly without the waiting period. The Silver Dices recovers 1 dice each. Let’s try the Silver Dices first.

When you click on the Silver Dice button you’ll be asked how many dices you wish to recover. Right now, I want three rolls, so I’ll press the + button until I can see the number 3. Then I press the 回復 button.

Three rolls! Now, let’s go back and see what would have happened if I had used the Golden Dice instead.

A window pops up with the question “サイコロを全回復しますか?”, which translates to “would you like to recover all dices?” The left button says いいえ (no) and the right button says はい (yes). Press the はい button.

Ten dices have been recovered. Now that all dices have been recovered, you’ll be able to play a lot!

Have fun, and happy rolling!
